Learning System help
Task-by-task instructions, recovery steps, and routes back into the Academy.
Register, verify, and enroll
- Choose Create student account and enter your name, email, and a strong password.
- Open the verification email and follow its secure link, then sign in.
- From the dashboard, choose Browse courses.
- Choose Enroll now on an open course. The course appears on your dashboard immediately.
If a course is not in the catalog, use the Academy contact on the marketing site; restricted cohorts may still be enrolled directly by an instructor or administrator.
Open lessons and videos
- Open a course from the dashboard and choose a lesson in its ordered module list.
- Use the player controls to start, pause, seek, change volume, or enter full screen. A transcript is provided below every video.
- For a playback error, read the transcript, retry the page, and report the lesson title through Messages.
- Choose “Mark lesson complete” when finished; you can reopen the lesson at any time.
Take a quiz
- Review points, attempt count, and time limit before choosing Start.
- Your answers are saved to the server while you work. Wait for the “Answers saved” status before intentionally leaving the page.
- The timer continues after refresh. Return to the same quiz to restore an active attempt and saved answers.
- Submit once. If the network fails, keep the page open and retry; do not start a second attempt.
Submit an assignment
- Review the due date, permitted text/file formats, and maximum file size.
- Enter text and/or choose files, then submit. Keep the page open until confirmation appears.
- Reopen the assignment to confirm the submitted timestamp and filenames.
- Contact the instructor before resubmitting if a graded submission needs replacement.
Use discussions
Open the course discussion board, create a descriptive thread, or reply within an existing thread. Keep student information and grades out of public course discussions; use Messages for a private question.
Progress and streaks
Each course card shows how many lessons you have marked complete. The learning streak counts consecutive days on which you were active in the Academy - completing a lesson, taking a quiz, or submitting work. A single missed day does not break the streak: one day of grace is allowed before the count resets. “Course complete” appears only when every lesson in the course is marked complete; until then the bar shows at most 99%, even when rounding would suggest 100%.
Grades and feedback
Open My grades from the course. “Awaiting grading” means work was submitted but manual review is incomplete; “Not attempted” means no submission exists. Open the attempt/submission for detailed feedback. Only you and assigned course staff can access your grades.
Grades and outcomes
Instructors may weight grade categories (for example Quizzes 40%, Assignments 60%). While some categories have no graded work yet, the remaining categories are rescaled - the “counts as N% currently” figure shows each category's effective weight right now, which shifts toward the declared weight as more work is graded. Learning outcomes each carry a mastery threshold: you are marked “Mastered” once your average across the assessments aligned to that outcome reaches the threshold percentage.
Messages, announcements, and notifications
Announcements are course-wide. Messages are private within the Academy organization. Notifications link to the related item. If a link reports an expired session, sign in again and reopen it from the dashboard.
Faculty onboarding, contracts, and pay records
Instructors submit the onboarding profile and can read only their own contracts/pay records. Administrators review onboarding and manage records. Contract downloads expire quickly and every contract/pay read is audited. Do not enter tax IDs, bank details, or payroll credentials in the LMS.
Reset a forgotten password
- Open password recovery.
- Enter the email used for your Academy account.
- Use the email link to choose a new password.
Privacy and your data
The privacy policy explains what data the Academy collects, how long it is kept, your education-record rights, how to download a full export of your own data, and how to request account removal.
